Three Arrested and Charged Over Death in Aberdeen

Three individuals have been arrested and charged in relation to the death of a man in Aberdeen that occurred in November of last year.

David Prystajko, aged 44, was discovered deceased at a residence on Marquis Road on Saturday, 22 November 2025.

The suspects include two men, aged 27 and 32, and a 43-year-old woman. They are scheduled to appear before Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday.

Family Statement

David's family expressed their grief and affection for him, describing him as a "deeply loved father, son and brother."

"He was a caring and loving person, and the grief experienced due to this unexpected loss has been unimaginable.
There has not been a single day that David has been out of our thoughts, and he will remain in our hearts forever.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Police Scotland for their dedication in the inquiry and for the support they have provided our family throughout this incredibly traumatic time."

Police Response

Detective Inspector Andy Machray of Police Scotland commented on the case, extending sympathies to the family and addressing community concerns.

"Our thoughts remain with David's family during this difficult time.
Incidents of this nature can understandably cause concern for the local community, and we'd like to thank the public for their support during this investigation."
