Tragic Death of Teenager in Stafford

A teenage boy, Brodan Dubickas, tragically lost his life after being struck by a falling tree on Holmcroft Road, Stafford, on Saturday evening. The incident occurred shortly before 18:30 BST, prompting an emergency response involving paramedics, police, and an air ambulance. Despite their efforts, Staffordshire Police confirmed that nothing could be done to save him.

Tillington Manor Primary School, where Brodan was formerly a pupil, paid tribute to him via a social media post, describing him as "kind-hearted, respectful and full of warmth". The school emphasized that he would be fondly remembered as "a special young man" who "approached school life with curiosity and determination".

School Community Remembers Brodan

Although Brodan had progressed to Year 10 at Sir Graham Balfour School, Tillington Manor Primary stated that he would "always remain a valued part of our school family". Head teacher Kelly Brockhurst expressed the profound impact Brodan had on both staff and pupils.

"He approached school life with curiosity and determination, and his gentle nature and positive spirit left a lasting impression on both staff and pupils alike," said Brockhurst.

She further reflected on the difficulty of processing the loss of someone with such promise, noting the deep sadness felt throughout the community.

"It is incredibly difficult to comprehend that a life with so much promise has been cut so short, and our whole community is deeply saddened by this loss."

The school also announced plans to honour Brodan in the future and confirmed that support would be provided to children and families affected by the news.

"Our heartfelt condolences go to Brodan's parents, his family, his friends, and the wider community. They remain very much in our thoughts at this incredibly difficult time," Brockhurst added.

Community Tributes and Reactions

Over the weekend, floral tributes were left at the scene of the incident. Stafford Rangers FC described Brodan's death as "heartbreaking". Additionally, the Stafford & District Sunday Football League Facebook group announced that all matches on Sunday would observe a one-minute silence before kick-off to honour his memory.

Football 4 Macclesfield also held a minute's silence before the Macclesfield FC U13s Summer cup in tribute to Brodan.

Brodan's passing has deeply affected the local community, with many expressing their condolences and support for his family during this difficult time.
