Teen Charged with Murder in Shooting Death of 14-Year-Old in London

A 16-year-old from Romford has been charged with the murder of 14-year-old Eghosa Ogbebor, who was shot dead in Woolwich on 2 April. The accused will appear at Thames Magistrates Court.

Teenager Charged with Murder of 14-Year-Old in South-East London

A teenage boy has been charged with the murder of 14-year-old Eghosa Ogbebor, who was fatally shot in south-east London.

On 2 April, police and paramedics responded to Lord Warwick Street, Woolwich, where Eghosa was discovered with severe injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Metropolitan Police reported that a 16-year-old from Romford, initially arrested on 4 April and subsequently re-arrested on Thursday, has now been formally charged with murder.

The accused is scheduled to appear in custody at Thames Magistrates Court on Saturday.
