The event occurred at approximately 09:30 on Tuesday when two police officers approached and spoke to the occupants of a vehicle on Fleming Way. The vehicle then drove off and collided with a stationary car.

Injuries and Hospitalization

Two police officers and a 22-year-old male passenger sustained injuries during the collision. All three individuals were transported to hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.

Investigation and Arrest

The driver fled the scene but was subsequently located and arrested. He is scheduled to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court later.
