Influencer Dies Following Collision Outside Soho Nightclub

Klaudia Zakrzewska, 32, a social media influencer, died six days after being struck by a car outside a nightclub in London, according to police reports.

The incident occurred on Argyll Street, Soho, at approximately 4:30 a.m. on 19 April. Zakrzewska was pronounced dead on Saturday following the collision. A 58-year-old man also sustained life-changing injuries in the event.

Charges Against Former X Factor Finalist

Gabrielle Carrington, a former X Factor finalist, appeared in court on Tuesday facing charges of attempted murder related to the incident outside the Inca nightclub. The Metropolitan Police have stated that the attempted murder charge will be upgraded to murder following Zakrzewska’s death.

Zakrzewska was known on TikTok and Instagram under the name Klaudiaglam and hailed from Essex.

Carrington, aged 29 and residing on Broadfield Road, Manchester, faces additional charges including dangerous driving while nearly twice over the drink-drive limit, and causing injuries to two other individuals—a third woman and a security guard—who were also struck by her Mercedes vehicle.

Investigation and Police Statement

Detective Chief Inspector Alison Foxwell, leading the investigation, expressed condolences and addressed public interest in the case.

“We would like to express our deepest sympathies to Klaudia’s family and friends in light of this tragic update.
Our thoughts are also with everyone impacted by this incident.
We recognise that this case has generated significant interest and discussion on social media; however, we would urge the public to refrain from further speculation.”
“We also ask that people do not share graphic footage out of respect for Klaudia’s loved ones and for those who have been injured.
The circulation of such material could also undermine our ongoing criminal investigation and potentially prejudice future court proceedings.”

Support and Fundraising Efforts

Nearly £18,000 has been raised through crowdfunding to assist with Zakrzewska’s medical treatment and her family’s legal expenses.

The GoFundMe page, reportedly created by her mother, states:

“If at any time things take a turn for the worst, additional funds will go towards funeral costs and continuous support for the family.”

Her mother, Kinga, shared her feelings on the page:

“Those who know me understand how much I love my daughter and what a special bond we have, and I cannot give up on my baby girl.”
“Anyone who knew my gorgeous daughter knows how truly wonderful she is. She has touched so many people with her pure heart and kindness, and she deserves every chance to keep fighting.”

Court Proceedings

Carrington was a member of Miss Dynamix, which reached the live finals of The X Factor in 2013.

She appeared at Westminster Magistrates Court on 21 April and was remanded into custody. Her next court appearance is scheduled for 19 May at the Old Bailey.
