Leicestershire Police have confirmed that searches are ongoing at Meynell Lake, located off Fosse Way in Syston, following reports that a teenage boy entered the water. Emergency services responded shortly after 13:30 BST on Thursday.

The lake, which is commonly used for boating and angling activities, is currently the focus of coordinated efforts by both police and Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service personnel.
