Police Search for Suspect in Woman's Suspicious Death

Authorities are actively searching for a man described as "dangerous" who was last seen near the location where a woman was found dead under suspicious circumstances.

Grant McKinnon, aged 30, was last observed in the Cardowan Road vicinity of Carntyne, Glasgow, at approximately 04:00 on Saturday morning.

At around the same time, police responded to reports of an injured woman on the street. Upon arrival, officers found the woman deceased at the scene. Her death is currently being treated as suspicious by investigators.

McKinnon is identified as a white male, standing 6 feet tall, with a slim build and a shaved head. At the time he was last seen, he was wearing a black jacket featuring a red hood or red hood lining, paired with blue jeans.

Police Appeal for Public Assistance

Detective Superintendent Gary Ferguson issued a public appeal regarding McKinnon’s whereabouts and the potential risk he poses.

"Grant is considered to be dangerous and I'm appealing for information from the public to help us trace him as soon as possible.
If anyone sees Grant, they should not approach him but contact police immediately."

He encouraged anyone with information about McKinnon’s location, or anyone who believes they have seen him since early Saturday, to contact the police promptly.
