Police investigating disorder in Glasgow city centre after Celtic won the Premiership title have released images of a further 28 supporters they want to speak to. Two officers were seriously injured and three members of the public needed hospital treatment following trouble in the Trongate area of the city on Saturday 16 May.
Officers in riot gear moved in to clear the streets as bottles and other missiles were thrown at them.
Police Scotland published a tranche of 28 pictures of fans they want to interview on Monday, and a further 28 on Tuesday.
What did police say about the investigation?
Ch Supt Emma Croft, divisional commander for Greater Glasgow, said:
"Significant inquiries remain ongoing into this disorder which impacted communities, businesses, police officers and supporters.
"I would urge the people in these images, or anyone who believes they may recognise them, to contact us."
Information can also be passed to the team via a dedicated online portal. The Major Incident Public Portal (MIPP) is a website that gives the public access to a form to pass information, images and footage directly to the Major Investigation Team and can be accessed here.
How many supporters were in the area?
The force estimated that about 3,000 supporters gathered after a dramatic 3-1 win over Hearts sealed Celtic's fifth Scottish title in a row.
The day before the game, Celtic urged its fans not to take part in an unofficial
"title party".
What happened last year?
Last year's gathering resulted in 19 arrests, injuries to four police officers and a massive clean-up operation the following day.
