Police Officer Injured in Grangemouth Collision

A police officer sustained injuries after a marked police vehicle collided with a car in Grangemouth.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:00 and resulted in the officer being transported to hospital with a non life-threatening injury.

Following the collision, the junction of Glensburgh Road and Forth Clyde Way remains closed at Dalgrain Road and Earlsgate roundabout.

Police Scotland confirmed that another officer was also taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.

A spokesperson for the force stated:

"There were no other reported injuries."
