Man Identified Following Fatal A92 Collision

Police have identified a 41-year-old man who died after being struck by a vehicle on the A92 near Aberdeen.

Scott Mutch, from Ellon, was pronounced dead at the scene after being hit by a blue Ford people carrier north of Murcar at approximately 03:10 on Thursday, 23 April.

His family described him as a dearly loved son and brother.

Police Appeal for Information

Sgt Lesley Morrison, representing the North East Road Policing Unit, has appealed for any witnesses or information related to the incident.

"Our investigation is ongoing and I would like to thank everyone that has contacted us so far."
