Police Investigate Unexplained Death Following Glasgow Flat Fire
Police are conducting an investigation into the "unexplained" death of a man after a fire broke out at a block of flats near Glasgow city centre.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) responded to the incident on Carnoustie Street in the Tradeston area at approximately 19:20 on Tuesday.
After extinguishing the blaze, emergency services transported the man to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where he subsequently died a short time later.
Police Scotland stated that inquiries are ongoing and that a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
This fire incident occurred just days after Glasgow's Central Station was closed due to flames spreading from a vape shop to an adjacent B-listed Victorian building.
"Police Scotland said inquires were ongoing and a report would be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
