Fifteenth Arrest Made in Operation Against Lyons Crime Gang
Detectives have apprehended a 15th individual as part of an extensive operation aimed at dismantling a criminal drugs gang led by the Lyons family.
Police Scotland reported that a 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of serious organised crime offences and is scheduled to appear before Glasgow Sheriff Court.
This arrest is connected to Operation Armorum, a Spanish Civil Guard-led investigation that has resulted in arrests across Spain, Scotland, Indonesia, and the United Arab Emirates.
Arrest of Steven Lyons and International Raids
Earlier this week, Glasgow crime boss Steven Lyons was detained in the Netherlands following his deportation from Bali.
The 45-year-old Lyons was taken into custody on 28 March after arriving in Indonesia from Singapore.

The Spanish Civil Guard stated that the Lyons network in Spain was dismantled through a series of raids primarily conducted on the Costa Del Sol and in Barcelona, with 20 other individuals currently under investigation.
During these operations, authorities seized electronic devices, substantial amounts of cash, company documents, luxury watches, and cryptocurrency wallets.
Operation Armorum also involved Turkish police locating and freezing high-value assets linked to the Lyons gang.
About the Spanish Civil Guard and Investigation Collaboration
The Civil Guard is one of Spain's two national police forces, functioning as a paramilitary organisation responsible for high-level security and tackling serious crime.
The raids followed a three-year investigation conducted in collaboration with Police Scotland.
Background on Steven Lyons and Gang Feud
Steven Lyons leads the Lyons group, which has been engaged in a violent feud with the rival Daniel group for over two decades.
In 2006, Lyons survived a shooting at a garage in Lambhill, north Glasgow, an attack in which his cousin was killed.
Subsequently, Lyons relocated to Spain before settling in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where he maintains connections with the Dubai-based Kinahan crime group.
Lyons was detained on the same day his wife, Amanda, was arrested in Dubai. He was deported from Indonesia on Tuesday.
