Murder Investigation Launched in Portadown

A murder investigation has commenced following the death of a man in his 40s in Portadown.

Police received a report at approximately 23:00 GMT on Thursday regarding a man who sustained injuries after an altercation at a property located on Ranfurley Road in the County Armagh town.

Emergency services, including the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) and the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, responded to the scene. Despite their efforts, the man was pronounced deceased at the location.

Two men, both in their 50s, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody.

Police Appeal for Information

Detective Chief Inspector Bradley of the PSNI has issued a public appeal for assistance in the investigation.

"We are appealing to anyone who believes they may have information which could assist us with our investigation, any dashcam or doorbell footage to contact us".
