Murder Investigation Launched After Discovery of Body
A murder investigation has been initiated following the discovery of a body linked to the disappearance of a 14-year-old girl named Lilly.
Lilly was last seen on the High Street in Blaina on Saturday evening. The body was found in the Duffryn Park area of Blaina, Blaenau Gwent, at approximately 22:10 BST on Monday.
Gwent Police stated that formal identification of the body has not yet taken place, but Lilly's family has been informed of the discovery.
The police have maintained a continued presence in the area and have urged anyone with information to come forward.

Detective Chief Inspector Steven Thomas, the senior investigating officer, addressed the community regarding the ongoing investigation.
"We understand that this will cause distress and concern amongst our communities.
We have a large police presence in the area at this time as enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the death. Our officers are here and available for you to speak to.
