Stalker Using Tinder to Harass Ex-Partner Sentenced
Asad Hussain has been sentenced to eight years in prison after creating a fake Tinder account in his ex-partner's name and inviting strangers to her home, causing her significant distress and fear.
At Chester Crown Court, it was revealed that Hussain, 36, manipulated random men into believing that the victim was interested in a "rape fantasy" and wanted to be "roughed up." This led to multiple incidents where strangers arrived at the victim's residence uninvited.
On one night in August 2024, four men showed up at the victim's address. In a separate incident in September, a man forcefully shoved her door, causing it to break.
Hussain was found guilty of stalking causing serious alarm or distress, assault, and failing to comply with a court order to provide passwords to his electronic devices.
