Man Hospitalized After Leg Stabbings in West Belfast Assault

Assault Incident in West Belfast

A man was hospitalized with stab wounds to both legs following an assault in west Belfast.

Police were alerted at approximately 03:05 BST on Saturday regarding an attack involving multiple males on Lenadoon Avenue.

Emergency medical services also attended the scene to provide assistance.

Arrests and Investigation

Three men, aged 42, 33, and 31, were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and are currently held in police custody.

Community Response

Sinn Féin MLA Órlaithí Flynn urged anyone with information about the incident to contact the police.

"This is a very settled, tight-knit community, residents are clearly shocked and saddened by the incident," she said.
