Man Charged Following Toddler's Death in Chertsey
A man has been charged with murder after the body of a two-year-old girl was found at a residence in Chertsey.
Surrey Police responded to an address on Pyrcroft Road at approximately 17:40 BST on Thursday, following reports expressing concern for safety.
Kevin Kerjean, aged 31, faces charges not only for murder but also for the rape and sexual assault of a child under 13.
He is scheduled to appear at Guildford Crown Court on Monday. Authorities had initially reported the girl as three years old.
