A man has appeared in court accused of murdering his grandmother at her residence in Glasgow.
Grant McKinnon is alleged to have killed Elizabeth Colligan, aged 82, in the Carntyne area of Glasgow last week. She was found deceased outside her home at 04:00 last Saturday.
During a private hearing at Glasgow Sheriff Court following his arrest on Tuesday, McKinnon made no plea.
