A 38-year-old man has been charged with dangerous driving following a hit-and-run incident and a police chase in Belfast. He is also facing a number of other charges, including failing to stop following an accident, not having insurance, and fraudulent use of registration mark.
What happened after the police pursuit?
The charges follow a police pursuit of a vehicle which started in the area of Broadway on Monday. The chase covered various areas of both west and north Belfast.
What are the next court dates?
The 38-year-old is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court later on Tuesday. A second man, aged 40, who was also arrested has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
What damage was reported during the chase?
A number of vehicles were damaged in the Westlink, Crumlin Road and Ballysillan Road areas during the course of the pursuit.
