A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following an incident where five individuals were struck by a vehicle in a town centre.
Nottinghamshire Police reported that one man sustained life-threatening injuries, while four other men were also injured after being hit by a Vauxhall Astra in Market Place, Arnold, shortly before 01:10 BST on Saturday.

The police indicated that the vehicle was believed to have been driven at the group after an altercation occurred in the town centre.
A 40-year-old man was taken into custody and remains detained as investigations continue.
