A 50-year-old man has been arrested following a major police operation at a property in Angus that closed a road for more than 10 hours. Police attended a property in the village of Kingennie in connection with an ongoing inquiry at 11:50 on Wednesday.
Eleven police vehicles, along with two fire appliances and an ambulance, attended the incident.

Police Scotland said the man had been charged and will appear at Forfar Sheriff Court later. No details of the incident have been released.
The village of Kingennie is about two miles north of Monifieth. Diversions were put in place and members of the public were asked to avoid the area, with the road reopening at about 22:00.
