Details of the Arrest

The 34-year-old suspect was taken into custody on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, attempted grievous bodily harm with intent, and possession of an offensive weapon with intent.

Victim's Condition and Medical Treatment

The victim suffered burns to his face, neck, and shoulders. Initially, he was transported to Altnagelvin Hospital in Londonderry for treatment before being transferred to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast for further care.
