Assault on Police Officers in Inverness
Three police officers were assaulted while responding to an incident near a bus stop in Inverness on Thursday afternoon.
One officer was taken to hospital for assessment following the event, which occurred on Mackintosh Road in Raigmore shortly after 16:00.
Arrests and Charges
Police Scotland reported that a 32-year-old man and two women, aged 28 and 25, were arrested and charged with assaulting police officers and breach of the peace.
Incident Context
The incident is understood to have taken place while a Stagecoach bus was stopped at the bus stop.

A spokesperson for Stagecoach North Scotland stated:
"We're aware of an incident reported in the Raigmore area of Inverness on Thursday afternoon involving one of our services.
"The safety of our customers and colleagues is always our top priority, and our driver acted in line with procedures at the time."
