Katie Price to Testify in Ex-Husband's Child Rape Trial
Katie Price will be called as a witness during the trial of her former husband, Kieran Hayler, who faces charges of raping a 13-year-old girl, a court has been informed.
Hayler, aged 39, is charged with three counts of rape and one count of sexually assaulting the girl at a residence in West Sussex. He denies all allegations.
He appeared at Lewes Crown Court on Thursday, where it was confirmed that his trial is set for October.
The court was advised that Price, who was married to Hayler at the time the alleged offences occurred, will provide evidence during the proceedings.
Hayler faces charges of raping the girl on three separate occasions and one count of sexual assault.
The alleged offences are said to have taken place between June and October 2016.
Police stated that the girl, who cannot be named due to legal restrictions, has received assistance from officers specially trained to support victims.
It was also noted that the girl is not related to either Hayler or Price's extended families.
Hayler has been granted bail pending the trial.
