Ongoing Investigation and Manhunt
Authorities are conducting an international manhunt for a suspect believed to have murdered a mother and her two children before fleeing the United Kingdom.
Bedfordshire Police gained forced entry into a residence on Carnoustie Drive, Great Denham, near Bedford, on Monday following reports that the family had not been seen for several days.
"We have identified a suspect who was known to all three victims, and who we believe has since left the country,"said Assistant Chief Constable John Murphy.
Tributes have been paid to the deceased, with one woman tearfully placing flowers at the scene, stating,
"We're really sorry to lose her. She's was such a gracious mother."
Locals have expressed shock at the incident.

The driveway of the house was cordoned off, and numerous bunches of flowers were placed on a hedge outside the property.
Murphy previously described the case as,
"a deeply distressing incident in which a mother and her two children are believed to have been murdered."
The police force indicated there is no evidence suggesting any wider threat to the public but announced plans to increase patrols in the area.
Authorities have requested that anyone with information regarding the incident or who witnessed any suspicious activity in the vicinity on Friday or Saturday contact Bedfordshire Police.
Formal identification of the victims has not yet been completed.
