Incident at Kilmarnock Cemetery
A five-year-old girl was transported to hospital following a collision with a vehicle at the entrance of Kilmarnock Cemetery.
Emergency services responded to the incident on Grassyards Road at approximately 11:20.
According to Police Scotland, a blue car had initially stopped at the location but departed before officers arrived on the scene.
Ongoing Investigation
Sgt Gordon Stewart stated that investigations are ongoing to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident and encouraged any witnesses to come forward.
"I would also ask anyone who was in the area and who may have dash cam or private CCTV that could assist to get in touch."
