A former SNP council leader has been found guilty of sexually assaulting three men.

Jordan Linden, who resigned as leader of North Lanarkshire Council in 2022 following the emergence of allegations, was convicted on 10 charges, including sexual assaults.

He faced a total of 15 charges at Falkirk Sheriff Court, which included sexual assault, sexual communication, and stalking.

Linden, who also served as chair of the Scottish Youth Parliament, denied all charges against him.
