Edinburgh City Council has closed St Cuthbert's RC Primary School following a routine health and safety inspection that identified a structural problem requiring immediate attention.

The council announced that urgent building work is necessary at the school, which serves approximately 180 pupils. As a precautionary measure, the school building will be closed starting Tuesday. However, the nursery section will remain open as usual.
