Fatal Crash in Birmingham

A nine-year-old girl died after sustaining serious injuries in a collision on Icknield Street, Hockley, Birmingham, at approximately 23:00 BST on Thursday. She later passed away in hospital.

Other Injuries and Arrests

West Midlands Police confirmed that a woman and two other children from the same vehicle were also injured and taken to hospital for treatment. Two men, aged 22 and 23, who were driving a BMW involved in the crash, have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving while unfit through drugs.

Police Appeal

The police have appealed to witnesses or anyone with dashcam or doorbell footage of the incident to come forward and contact them.
