Simon Cowell Surprises School Choir at Statue Unveiling

A school choir was left speechless when Simon Cowell emerged from beneath a red sheet that was covering what they believed to be a new statue honoring a significant figure in the music industry.

Seventy boys from Glantaf School in Cardiff had been informed that they would be performing at the unveiling of this new statue.

However, they were stunned when the big reveal showed Britain's Got Talent lead judge surprising them with the announcement that they would be auditioning for the ITV show.

Choir Leader's Nomination and Audition Performance

The episode airing on Saturday night featured the boys' choir leader, Lloyd Macey, a former X Factor contestant, who had nominated the boys for the audition.

After a brief moment of confusion, Cowell exclaimed

"surprise"
and proceeded to high-five the boys.

Judge Amanda Holden praised the boys, saying they

"did Wales proud and I can't wait to see what comes next,"
while Alesha Dixon commended Lloyd Macey as a
"fantastic leader."
